Real Truth with Ruth

Oct 17, 2022

I admit that I wouldn't say I like the thought or experience of persecution. If you are like me, I am guessing it is not on your vacation or bucket list. Why would Jesus include "Blessed are those who are persecuted," and what does He mean by this?

We must understand that Jesus is talking about persecution that happens as a result of following him. He is not talking about the persecution that happens when we make bad choices.

Any form of persecution, that happens due to our walk with the Lord, brings us closer to Him and He will give us what need to make it through.

What can we learn as we sit at His feet?

Scripture Referenced: Matthew 5 1 Peter 4:12-16
